Aqua Duct 1

The Erie Canal Aqua Duct in Rochester, NY. It is located right next to The Dinosaur BBQ. Those are whole trees that had been uplifted somewhere, were carried down river and eventually became stuck on this aqua duct. There are cars on the bridge above, for comparison sake.

I tried out dinosaur BBQ when I was in Rochester. The Carolina port was good... if not exactly authentic (it was really more Memphis style than Carolina). Nice shot from that old XS. My first SLR ever was a Rebel XS. Put a lot of film through that camera before it died.

Incidentally, Potsdam wasn't my alma mater, but my son went there for two years before transferring to UNC-Greensboro.

The size of those trees is boggling. Great that you were able to record this scene.
